So here we go … marketing 250 is a class that definitely puts me out of my comfort zone! I am not super tech-y, outgoing, self-motivated, creative – you know, all those things associated with someone eager to start something new online. This class seriously freaks me out! While much of what we are learning is probably review or second nature to some, this is a whole new world for me. Every step of every lesson is something I haven’t done or even heard of before. I am learning about the ins and outs of coming up with a business idea. I learned about Google Ads and keyword impressions this week. Who knew all this logistical stuff?! (Maybe the whole world, but not me!) Though I don’t really have plans of having a career after college (my college motivation is to show my kids that education is important), I am always inspired by what my old fuddy-duddy brain can still learn. This kind of learning always puts me in awe of the intellegent minds that exist. I can tell this is a class that will push me out of my shell. It will require me to spread my wings a great deal … so here we go!
